c3d to carlson points

I downloaded the service pack and object enabler for Acad 2007. When I try
to convert Civil 3d points to Carlson points It crashes after getting
about half way throught the convert process. I tried it on a civil 3d
(2007) dwg with 28 points and it worked great, but cannot get it to work
on any dwg with larger number of points? Any help?

While you wait, your C3D user can export to ASCII or LandXML and you
should be able to import that OK.

Problem is that we are the user... We are switching from Civil 3D to
Carlson. All of our previous drawing that were done in civil 3d will need
to be accessible in Carlson. This feature is great for that, if I can get
it to work. While your options are great, our license for Civil 3d is not
going to work in a few weeks. Hence, we won't be able to get into those
drawings from Civil 3d. Thanks, AJN

IMO - While your C3D is still operational, I would be busy exporting
project data to LandXML then. You can't count on Carlson (or anyone else
for that matter) to be able to successfully convert C3D data.

At least LandXML is a documented format that can be imported into most
any civil/survey application.
