duplicate or multiple points

Postby Lance » Thu Mar 15, 2007 11:46 pm

When using the 2006 F2F routine, it always plots two points in the same
spot. One will have the symbol and a portion of the description, the
other will have a point node, and the rest of the description. For
example: the point is numbered as 6080, with a description of Oak 10, for
10" Oak. However, it plots one full point attribute with the symbol I
assigned in the code table with only "oak" for the description. Another
point attribute will plot at the same coordinates with the same point
number, a description of "10" and the elevation, but a "default" symbol.
So, it's made two points and broken it up with two different symbols and
split my description.

When I created the code table, I have only "Oak" in the description field,
the crew is adding the size after the description. Maybe that is screwing
it up.

I can't figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong.

Anybody experienced this? It's really imperative that I figure it out
because we are trying to make the switch using the Explorers with F2F
exclusively.

Thanks in advance.

Lance
