When we insert a north arrow into a twisted model spcae or viewport the
arrow comes in facing up the screen even though the viewport might be
twisted 90 degrees.
North point is inserted by using 'Annotate' - 'Draw North Arrow'
'Rotate Onscreen' unchecked, 'Specify Scale Onscreen' unchecked and
'Rotate Azimuth' set to 0.0000.
Click 'OK' and choose insert point with mouse. North arrow comes in
pointing straight up screen rather than north (0deg).
A work around is to have 'Rotate Onscreen' checked and then type zero when
prompted. this inserts the block point north not up the screen.
Changing the base angle in 'Direction' under 'Units Control' does not help.
This did not occur in Survey 2004 or 2006.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a solultion?
