viewports and layerstates.

Using Carlson Survey 2004.

is there a method to assign a layer state to a viewport? I cannot find it.
I want 2 vp's on 1 sheet. Each vp will have unique layers froze/thaw.
Problem is when I restore layerstate #1 for vp#1, vp#2 is displayed
incorrect.

I want layerstate #1 displayed in vp#1 and layerstate#2 in vp#2 at same
time.

Your method is a suitable work-around for a well organized caddpro: If your
confused about which is current VP you'll have a mess.
