crd file from entities

Postby Brick » Mon May 21, 2007 6:34 pm

I have a drawing file from a surveyor with points, elev. & desc., but
don't have an ascii or crd file. I want to create a crd file from the
points on the screen. what is the command to create a crd from screen
entities? thanks

It would be nice to know which version you are running. Also is the
original drawing from LDD or similar?

Assuming yes to the latter question and Survey 2007 to the former, look
under the following:
Points/Coordintate file utilities/Update CRD file from drawing
We have had this work or not depending on what types of drawing enitites you
have representing the other surveyor's points. Good luck

If the points aren't Carlson points, try

Points/Convert point format - and it gives you a lot of options.

Once you have converted the points, then do as BSS said, to create the
points in the CRD (the process that I described just creates them in the
drawing).
