Change the objects on the profile to a different layer before you draw
the profile will work.
Or you could just follow the text prompts at the bottom and say "No"
when it asks if you want to erase the existing profile.
However, its a little picky about when it asks you this. Its only when
you are redrawing the same profile (that you have already drawn,
otherwise there is nothing to erase, it thinks). So if you have multiple
profiles defined, it may not ask you every time.
So if I want to keep the original linework, isolate the layers, change
them all to something else (0, profile backup, etc.), and then restore
and draw the new profile. Not terribly useful, but it does work if you
want to compare two profiles.

is there anyway to remove the option to "remove existing profile" when
drawing profiles??
