We have also tried the import routine with the same error code
("error:unknown code -1073741515"). What is the answer to the file type,
location, etc. to make this transfer work?

Yes we still have the same problem also.
I sent in an error report to Carlson back in February and they said the
error code was a Leica code. They were going to contact Leica but I have not
heard anything since then.
As a kind of work around I use a free program on the Leica website called
"Leica X-change" which can convert files stored on the flash card to rw5 and
txt files quicker than converting within the instrument.
But you still cannot upload files to the card with it.

Oliver: We emailed "John" who is out of town until Fri 7/20/07. He said
someone would contact us from Carlson. We also contacted our local guru
who contacted Carlson and is awaiting a reply. Meanwhile, we will dl
X-change and give it a go (we havn't found the onboard routine to be too
slow as yet, maybe it's the data files we produce, typically in the 300 to
400 point range). Will keep all posted re this issue.
