Ok, maybe I asked the wrong question. Let me just ask like this: "Is
there a way for the user to define their own (command prompt) commands?"
(ie- l=line, c=circle, z=zoom out, etc.)

The command names can be listed by type "?" at the command prompt.

Please see the customizing Carlson Survey above, but you can copy acad.pgp
file and rename it star.pgp, and then you can define your own commands in
that file. If you do not have access from a Autocad install copy the
following text to a file and name it Star.pgp and put it in your support
directory.
