Customizing toolbars

Postby Brandon Newsom » Wed Sep 15, 2004 4:05 pm

Is it possible to take a command that is not even usually on any of the
toolbars (ie- "join nearest"), and put it on a custom toolbar? If so, how
might I go about doing that? Thank you,

Brandon

Sure, just find out the command name, add it to a new toolbar button.

All the command names in the pull-down menus can be found in "..\Support\STAR.MNU"

(BTW, the command name for Join Nearest is "NEARJOIN")

I can't speak for any ill-effects caused by customizing the menus though. You may want to check with other users or Carlson regarding the effects of adding custom toolbars and/or toolbar buttons.
