Points move an rotate

Postby Donald E Robinson, PLS » Wed Mar 30, 2005 8:52 pm

I still have this problem, even after a clean reinstall. Note: This only
happens when I use the Point Group Manager (PGM). When I create a point
group with the PGM and insert them into a drawing the first time all appears
OK. When I erase the points using PGM, the first time, all points are
erased. From that point on when I re-insert the points usin PGM many of
them are in the wrong location and rotated along with their attributes
(text). The when I erase the points using PGM the points that are in the
wrong location and rotated remaiin in the drawing and I have to erase them
manually
I get around this problem by inserting the points using the Draw-Locate
Points... then the Draw Point Group button. Then when I erase the points
using the PGM they are all removed.
This really concerns me because if one slips by I could be in real trouble.
Any Ideas?

Don, I can't duplicate the error. I have tried over and over with no
success. My Carlson Survey has a build date of 06/17/04, does yours
match? I am at a loss here. I have had another one of my guys check it
out also and he couldn't duplicate it either. I will quiz some of the
programmers to see if they have any ideas. If anything changes or you
come up with new information let me know.
