Aribitary Setup - Adjustments...

Postby Drew Gordan » Mon Dec 10, 2007 12:23 pm

Hello,

Just a quick question to anyone who might know of an answer..

basically, the way we set up jobs is to initially set 0deg to the backsight, then traverse around the site, through as many stations as needed, then come back with the GPS and Coordinate the initial two stations..

im having immense trouble with trying to adjust the traverse..

is there a way of 'locking' the coordinates so that the traverse angles are modified to the 'true' GPS back-bearing?

cheers

Drew

Drew,

Place store point records at the beginning of the file with the GPS coordinates. Next on the initial backsight lines you need to clear the set azimuth and the azimuth boxes. this should let it use the azimuth from the 2 gps points.
