disable 2D/3D acceleration in the CAD engine?

Postby carp » Fri Dec 28, 2007 11:45 pm

I've got a quick and hopefully easy question to ask -- I have been using Carlson Survey 2007 inside a virtual machine for a while and all is well except for the fact that my virtualized Windows does not support video acceleration of any sort.

With that being said, I have found that if I disable video acceleration inside specific programs (such as Windows Media Player) I am able to see a huge increase in performance since it forces the said program to just use CPU for rendering.

I have not been able to find the environment variables for Carlson Survey 2007 in order to disable the video acceleration. I am familiar with the 3DCONFIG command in AutoCAD and such, but no such command is available under your software.

Please tell me that disabling the acceleration is possible! :-) What command or variable do I need to change?
