what's up with plinegen?

The plinegen variable doesn't appear to be working in Survey 2006. The
variable is set to on (1), but when I draw a pline it don't generate through
the vertices. I have to go to properties, select them, and set to "enable".

I didn't have any problems with Survey 2004. Is this a bug, or is there
another system variable that I need to set?
