Intel "Recommended", but any known issues with AMD

I am about to purchase a new computer on which I plan to run Survey 2009 Embedded Autocad, and the system requirements for users who are focusing on 2D drawing creation state: "Intel Pentium IV processor recommended".

I prefer to buy a new computer with an AMD processor (Turion), but I'd like to know if there are any known issues with the software and AMD processors since it says that Intel is recommended.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
