I'm running Carlson 2009 on ACAD 2007. Today I downloaded/installed the patch for users with this setup. My problem is that when I draw Field-to-Finish the 3D breakline that should correspond to the curb line draws as arcs between every point. In other words, we have F2F setup to draw 2 lines for the code BC (back of curb), one line is the 2D planimetric line and the other line is a 3D polyline, one on top of the other. They are assigned to different layers so that you can turn off the curb breakline line and just see the 2D curb line. Anyway, when I draw my line work with F2F, the 3D curb breakline draws not as a straight line between two points, but rather as an arc between every point along the curb line. The result is a 3D line that looks like "McDonald's arches." The 2D curb line draws just fine.
This has never happened until two days ago when my Carlson automatic updater downloaded an update. Unfortunately I just accepted the updater without critically looking at it. I don't know what got updated. (There should be a log file somewhere easily located so that a log of updates can be quickly reviewed.) As I said in the beginning, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Carlson 2009 and installed the patch for users using ACAD 2007 with Carlson 2009. Still getting the arches. I've compared my F2F and special codes check boxes to my co-worker's whose software doesn't draw arches and they are the same. Wehn he re-draws the same F2F with his computer he doesn't get the arches.
Please help. Thank you for your time. Feel free to email me.
