Carlson Survey 2006

When I use another person's drawing and point the drawing, after awhile,
it will crash. I was told by Carlson that the work around is to do this:
create a new drawing, set up to the same scale, import the other
person's drawing at x=0 and y=0, explode the drawing, make sure my
coordinates match, update the coordinate file, and start draw/locate
points. After a short time, it will crash. Is this a bug? Does anyone
else have this problem?
