You didn't mention what version you are inquiring about, but the 2004 version does include the standard AutoCAD "SPELL" command.

Edit>Text>Text Export ...
This command allows you to write selected text entities to a file. This can
be useful when you want to use your word processor to edit large tables or
do a spelling check. The edited text can then be redrawn with the Text
Import command.
