Use a text editor to create from the FLT file an XYZ.TXT file(delete line 1
and column 1).
Open a new drawing and import the xyz.TXT file.
Points>CooRDinate File Utilities...>Duplicate Points...>Delete Duplicates
Points>Draw-Locate Points
Another way is via File>Import/Export LandXML Files...
Hope this helps.

Terry,

Yes - we use commands in Carlson Survey that are found in SurvCADD.

If the points are anywhere inside the TIN, type at the command prompt
"SPOTELV".
Then follow the prompts, then eventually you can pick points on the screen
and points are annotated & created in the CRD with elevations.

If you want to draw a tin itself, use the command TINUTIL, then "Load TIN",
then "Next", then "Draw as 3d Faces"

Hopefully these commands stay in future versions of Carlson Survey.

Regards...Stephen Rhodes
