Draw Lots from file routine problem

I am using Carlson Survey 2004. I am having a problem with the Draw Lots
from File routine. The program is annotating the curve numbers and area
data parallel to the screen rotation and not parallel to the lines they are
annotating. For example, the curve number should be parallel to the chord
of the curve. The bearings are drawn in the proper position, but not the
curve numbers or area labels. Is there a setting I can adjust (in a .cfg
file or something) to get them to rotate parallel to the curve? I started
using this feature in Carlson Survey XML, and it plotted the labels
correctly.

P.S. With 2004 the system will turn layer 0 to red on occassion, just like
it did in the Carlson Survey '99 version....
