Is there a way to make point notes be a part of the point block, instead of
just being text?

Johnny, no not at this time. Myself, as well as others, have suggested
that our coordinate format provide for more attributes. I am pretty
sure that this will happen but not real soon. So stand by hopefully we
will get it sometime in the not so distant future.
