Good Morning All,
Has anybody had the opportunity to try the Leica 1200 Import/Export routine in Survey 2008 standalone yet?
We still cannot get the routine to work in Survey 2007 and as far as I know, still remains an un-resolved issue.
Any comments would be appreciated as our decision to upgrade at this point may well hang on this!
Thanks in advance,
Oliver

Oliver,
I don't think we currently have issues reported with this transfer. You could try the 08 software free for 30 days to see if the transfer works as you want it to. If you have problems with it, let us know and we can get repairs made. Let me know if you would like a demo serial number.

Jason,
Yes, that would be great and then I can try it out.
Thank you for your help.

Jason,
I have tried the Leica Import/Export routine in Survey 2008 and I am having the same trouble as in Survey 2007. I am not sure if it is something I am doing wrong as the help file on this subject is non-existent. What I do is as follows:
1) Select Survey>Data Collectors>Leica>Leica 1200 Series>Import From Leica
2) Set Leica Data Folder (In my case the flash data card connected to my pc via a card reader)
A warning box appears with "Error: Unknown code - 1073741515" & no jobs appear in the window.
I have tried selecting the base folder on the data card, as well as the DBX folder where the Leica 1200 job files are located.
I have also tried copying the files onto my hard drive and selecting that directory - still the same error.
Again, I am assuming these are the files that the routine are looking for as it does not say in the help file.
I sent in an anomaly report to Carlson last February and was told that the error message was a Leica Code and that they were going to contact Leica about it. That was the last I heard.
By the way, I am running XP Pro with full administrators rights.
Hopefully this explains the problem I am having. If you need any more info, please let me know.

Good Morning All,
I was wondering if there is any news from Carlson on this problem.
If anyone has had any success with this routine, I would love to know.
Regards,
Oliver
