Traverse balancing in Survey 2004

Is there a demo or tutorial available somewhere for balancing a traverse in
carlson survey 2004? I really need to get away from relying on other cogo
programs just for traverse reduction but the few times I've looked into it
on Carlson I wasn't getting anywhere.
