GEDIT

Postby GeoTrek » Tue Nov 06, 2007 5:27 pm

i updgraded from 2007 to 2008 and now get many random " ERROR GEDIT" and the program closes. I have searched this and all the threads talk about graphics cards and viruses.

The only thing I have changed is going from 2007 to 2008. I used to get the error in 2007 but it stopped with one of the updates.

Help, very frustrating.

Check the Carlson Software Knowledgeable article # 514:

This error is a conflict with a virus or antivirus on the system.

i keep getting the same error...

i have worked with carlson 2005 in a different office, without a single issue for 3 years. Now iam running carlson 2009 embebbed with autocad, it is a fresh install with vista, and i keep getting the gedit3 error... i really need advice on this.

i have had better luck working out of my pc than off the server.

i have unloaded the nvivida display drivers.
scanned and re-scanned my pc.
i have the hijackthis software, but i dont understand what to do with it (iam not that much of a computer guy).

did the advise work for you?
