Functions Not Working in 2008

I have encountered serveral operations which work in 2007 but do not function in 2008. I refer to my earlier post today on multi point symbols. I have just encountered another today. The Fix Label Overlaps works fine in 2007. when I try the same job in 2008 it states no overlaps found when clearly there are many.

It appears to me that the addition of the \user directory has some problems. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been using Carlson since 2004 with great enthusiasm, the 2008 release has caused me the greatest frustration, such that I am forced to go back to using 2007 on most occasions.

I have just encountered another problem with the Line table. I had a line table I had drawn in a job. I had to redo the table so I deleted the table and redid the process. No I get the each line typed over the top of the line 1.

I am working on the job at my home computer. I have copied the data files into a matching directory structure as the one in the office. If I look at the \user directory (in my home PC) there is a file called temp.txt. Viewing the file the first line refers to the *.cfg file with the location of the office PC.

Could my problems be related to the fact that if the job is moved or used by another user on a network, I have to copy more than the obvious data files?
