Offsetgaptype Command

Is there anything like this in CS 2004?

I don't know the best way to describe the command (maybe someone else can).
It puts in arcs at the offset distance for the "peaks" in the polyline you
are offsetting, instead of the exagerated "peaks" that you get from the
standard offset.
