Re-install or repair

Every so often some things, usually label curb\flow elevations, will stop working properly, as if something got unlinked or something. If I do a reinstall it starts working ok again. Is there a way to repair the installation without doing a full reinstall and having to copy my fld files and blocks back in?
Also on the label curb subject; would be nice if you could put a bearing into the absolute box for the alignment, same as you can in the label coordinate/elevation routine. Label curb/flowline is a great tool when it is working properly and if it had a few minor tweaks it would make things alot easier. Also an enhancement that would be nice is to extend the leader to match the end of the text if I use the HZ offset on the text.
