I have tried everything to get my TDS Ranger 300 to download points to Carlson Standalone 2008. H E L P.....I have done all the normal things like making sure that com, baud, & parity are the same......

Are you trying to download a CR5 or a JOB?

I am trying to download either a cr5 or a raw file.

I use HP200LX's with TDS software and I find it best to download/upload with windows Hyper terminal save the files to a field directory then use convert tds to crd files or import files.

This way I separate the fieldwork file from the office drawing file (CRD). I upload to the HP using the Carlson data collector routine.
