Substitute Carlson Point Blocks?

Hi there

Is there anyway that I can redefine the SRVPNO1 block with a block of a
different design but still retain the point elevation details?

Alternatively is there a way to use a different block design in the field
survey but still have the elevation attribute of the block filled in with
the data from the CRD file.

Attribute Layout ID: Controls the location of the point number, elevation
and description. These attribute layouts are defined in AutoCAD drawings
that are stored in the Carlson Survey SUP directory with the file name of
SRVPNO plus the ID number (i.e. SRVPNO1.DWG, SRVPNO2.DWG, etc.). If you want
to change the attribute positions for a layout ID, then open and edit the
associated SRVPNO drawing.

Yep, got that one. Can I them rename the block?

I need to have the data in the point bolck appear in another block called
6fsl_v1.

Its a Local Govt. requirement where I am.

When I do this the elevation value disappear. Does the Attribute Tag have to
be the same for both blocks ?

The attibutes of 66fsl_v1 must be the same as in srpno# you want to
substitute.
