I recently reinstalled Carlson Survey 2004. The note on fraction symbols kept coming up, i.e. the fraction either being 1/2 or 1over2. I inadvertanly set it to 1over2. How do I locate the and change the settings so that my fractions come in as 1/2.

From my google search in autocad discussion groups, I would assume your fraction is created as MTEXT. This was the solution, hope it helps.

Create a stacked fratcion -> select the fraction -> right click -> select
"Stack Properties" -> select "AutoStack..." on dialog -> remove check for
"Enable AutoStacking"
