spline

I'am new to the site, and this is probably an old question, and I think I
will get a quick and short answer.
Will Carlson Survey 2004 draw a spline?

Thanks,
Steve

No, quick & short. It will, however, recognize a spline drawn in
another application. There may be one of the polyline routines that
would approximate a spline.

I miss the spline function too but you can get close by drawing a 2d
polyline and then:

Well the best that I have been able to do is to smooth a polyline. Is that
what you mean?

I'm dealing with many twisty roads and I do not like the way they turn out
just by smoothing the line. The only way they look good is by me taking
additional location points on the curves. That can be a major time killer
if you know what I mean.

Thanks,
Steve
