Title Block Help

I am running Carlson 2009 on Intellicad.

Having trouble creating a custom title block. I save a new tblock.dwg file as tblock2.dwg, however, when I type the TBLOCK command, it automatically loads the default tblock.dwg file and I'm not prompted with the 'Create Title Block' dialog shown in the manual. Help!

Make sure your "Tblock2.dwg" is saved in the same location as the original and when in the Create Title Block dialog box, in the upper right corner, select the desired tblock to insert.

The problem is when I type the TBLOCK command I am not prompted with the 'Create Title Block' dialog; it automatically loads tblock.dwg and i'm promted with the 'Enter Attributes' dialog. I'm not getting promted with the 'Create Title Block' dialog, just the 'Enter Attributes' dialog from the TBLOCK command.

I did a little investigating and it looks like the Acad version uses some Visual LSP routines that aren't available in Icad. So the Icad version has an older version of this routine. So instead of using this routine, it might be better to use Insert to place the title block.

hello i know this is an old post but i am having the same issue is there any fix so that the create title block menu will actually show up? i have been able to insert the title block i made but would like to ba able to use the create custom title block tool and menu

Unfortunately, this is not an option in Icad.
