Hi,

At any random time, the points attributes may suddenly become no longer grouped even with the setting checked. There is no way to group them back together without removing the registry settings and tricking the software into thinking that there has been a fresh install.

Please advise.

It sounds like your attribute grouping option has been toggled.
CNTL SHIFT A will toggle it back and forth.
