DOUBLE CLICK EDIT

Postby bbeaton » Mon Dec 07, 2009 2:22 pm

I just installed the new Carson Survey 2010 - Embedded AutoCad and I can not edit my text by double clicking on it.
I tried the DBLCLKEDIT (on) and PICKFIRST (1) and nothing.

Any ideas?

Double-Click Text-Editing

Postby Don » Tue Dec 08, 2009 7:13 pm

I had the same problem with 2008 on Windows Vista. At first I had to reinstall 2006, customize and transfer the Double-click Folder from the CUI to a folder on my HD, then reinstall 2008 and transfer the Double-click Folder from the folder on my HD to 2008.
I think it is Windows Vista glitch, because I recently re-installed 2008 on Windows 7 and had no problem. I had other problems with 2008 on Vista that I no longer have on the Windows 7 O/S.
I am not familiar with Survey 2010, but if you are running it on Vista, I think that is where your problem lies. You might want to try re-installing (Repair Installation) in Vista's Add/Remove Program Tool.

I'm getting this too, I also had a brief period that I couldn't double click out of Pspace or back into Mspace but that fixed itself with a reboot. Doesn't appear to be affecting Civil 2010

I don't know if you solved this yet, but I had the same problem. After doing a bit of research it seems that in 2010 your CUI doubleclick settings get wiped out. If you still have 2009 installed and can get to the old SUPPORT folder you can use the Transfer function of the "cui" command to drag and drop the doubleclick settings over from the 2009 cui file (SURV.cuix) into 2010. Annoying, but well worth it.
