I'm new to the form, so feel free to YELL AT ME if I'm doing this wrong.

I'm running Carlson Survey 2009 with Autocad built-in. Is there a way to convert TDS *.job files to Carlson *.crd files?

Thanks.
Karl

Not gonna yell at anybody this close to Christmas!! Santa might be listening. I don't think the TDS.Job file is your coordinate file. Doesn't TDS use either a .RAW or .RW5 file for the coordinates?

Go to Points >Convert Point Format>Convert TDS to crd & CRD to TDS
It also available in import ASCII,DATA collector and the RAW Data files can be read by the RAW Editor

Sorry I was showing my age here. I don't know about TDS JOB files. The CR5 & RW5 are all OK

Unfortunately, TDS *.job files are not the same as their CR5 files.
I guess I'll just have to pocess the raw data to create a *.CR5 file then convert that file.
Thanks for the input.

Isn't the raw data in a *.raw or *.rw5 file?
