Sorry i am kinda new. Is there a way to set up a constant in an attribute
to display today's date ( as in the day it is inserted ) ?

I don't think so. There is an option in SurvCE to store a time/date
stamp in the raw file when the point was shot, I believe, but I don't
think that is what you're looking for. Maybe someone else will have a
better answer.

If CS includes Fields, just add a field to your attribute text after
inserting the block. Set the field category to DATE. It will not update
unless you run the UPDATEFIELD command.
