Can anyone tell me how to set the view resolution in Survey 2006?
Full version of autocad you could set the viewres command up to
20000 which would show smooth circles. In survey I keep having
to regen the drawing...

I don't think VIEWRES was added to the command list. Is it not in the
OPTIONS dialog either, on the Display tab?

FYI, even with VIEWRES set to 20000, you can still get "polygon"
circles, requiring a REGEN. It all depends on the current virtual
display compared to your current zoom level. 1000 should be a
satisfactory setting.

If you can access it in the OPTIONS dialog, set it in your template
drawing so you don't have to keep doing it each time.

Right mouse click in the command bar
select options
select the display tap
and set your resolution in the display resolution box
