Centerlines and Back/Ahead

Postby Karl » Mon Jan 25, 2010 4:55 pm

How do you station a centerline that contains a Back/Ahead break in it without resorting to making another centerline?

Specifically, the centerline I am working on is offset .152m at Station 0+539.871. The result is that my stations are off by .152m upstation.
Currently, I have 2 centerline files, one ending at this station, and another beginning, but this is not theanswer.
I like importing centerlines to different drawings to reduce drafting time. Would like to solve this problem.

Thank you for any input

I sent this to our programming staff to see if this can be handled and if not add it to the wishlist for review. Please give us a call here at 606-564-5028 so I can get your contact information and have it added to the report.

Karl,

Try using the 'Station Equation' option within 'Input-Edit Centerline File'. Here you can assign Back and Ahead stations within a Centerline.

You can enter the station equation in Input-Edit Centerline. This will store the station equation to the .cl file. Then in Station Polyline/Centerline use the .CL File option.
