Offset to a layer

Postby Terry Watson » Mon Feb 06, 2006 11:36 pm

Is there a way to offset to a certain layer in Carlson Survey 2006? In
Autocad I used a lisp routine to do this. All I had to do was set my
layer as current and all offsets would be to this layer. I would like to
save the step of having to change the layer of the offset items. Thanks.

If CS uses the core AutoCAD offset command, then yes. Look at the
options on the command line.

That option does not show up on the command line in Carlson Survey 2006.

I guess they wrote their own offset command for some reason.
