Special Polyline or Page Setup?

Postby danberg » Mon Mar 13, 2006 6:11 am

changed polylines to special linetype (Annotate>Linetype>Change Polyline
Linetype...).
All looks correct in ModelSpace.
All looks correct in Layout1.
Linetypes are scaled incorrectly in Layout2 (the drawing has two
sheets-the PLine crosses the sheets match-line)
Curiously, the incorrect scale is about 1/10 the actual scale. The special
brush LT has one arc where 10 ought to be. And the drawing scale is
1"=10'... hmmmm...

Checked PL properties; LT scale=1
Checked Page Setup on both layouts; they are identical.
Checked Drawing Setup; Looks good.

What up?

Sounds like to me the dreaded paper space linetype scale is set to one
(1). This the default for some reason. I am assuming you have your page
setup at 1:1 plotting. If so, then the variable PSLTSCALE should be set
to zero (0). If you are plotting the paper space layout at the model
scale (i.e. 1"=10') then it should be set to one (1).
Let me know if this helps.

Doug-
Well that did it. Changed the variable PSLTSCALE =0 and no change, then
clicked the viewports and changed LTSCALE = 0 in properties box. That did
it.

What I cannot figure is why the Pline would appear ok in one layout and
not the other. Both had same settings.
thanks!
