As we roll out Server, we are finding some users are frustrated with the apparently poor navigability of Tableau Server, when compared to Tableau Reader. It turns out they have been really happy with the tabbed worksheet ribbon along the bottom of the Reader view, and also with the Thumbnail workbook viewer (one of the tabs in the Top Right). These features aren't reproduced in Server.
What we'd like is:
- default workbook view on Server to be configured to be List View, rather than require user to click on List each time
- A better thumbnail viewer, similar to the one in Tableau Reader
- a better way to go directly from one View to another in Server without having to go back to the menu each time (you can can do this in Reader using the tabs, but you can't do it in Server)
