If you're lost when you look at these, you need to read the help files on how to create custom linetypes.
Define your .lin file using the following commands. Your fence line will be similar to my guardrail:
*GUARD_L, Guardrail, posts on left
A,0,[CIRCLE,McClure,s=.0175,r=90],.305663,CIRCLE,McClure,s=.0175,r=90]
*GUARD_R, Guardrail, posts on right
A,0,[CIRCLE,McClure,s=.0175,r=270],.305663,CIRCLE,McClure,s=.0175,r=270]
*STONEWALL, Stone Wall
A,0,-.0625,[STONE,McClure,s=1],-.06303
"STONE" is the name of the custom shape that I created using the MKSHAPE routine, and in my case "McClure" is the location where that shape is defined. You need to have the .shx file loaded in order for these definitions to work (type in LOAD at the command prompt). Save the .lin, .shp, & .shx files in your AutoCAD support folder located on your C:\ drive and it will make your life easier.
I can send you my custom files if you want, pm me your e-mail address.
