Carlson survey 2007 Unhandled Exception problem

Postby byrnassoc » Mon May 09, 2011 2:13 pm

Right when I open Carlson I get the following error.

Exception in C:\PROGRAM FILES\CARLSON SOFTWARE 2007\LSP\SCADDB.ARX ARX Command

Unhandled Exception 7D3F37C (e06d7363h) at address 7C812AFBh.

Then Carlson tells me to type "Y" to reset.

After this error happens, I can't use very many commands. I can't even draw a line it tells me the command is unknown. I have reinstalled twice and it's fixed nothing. I'm now considering reinstalling Windows as a last resort, but I suspect it's not windows, but something with Carlson's installation. Is there a list of instructions for manually removing EVERYTHING Carlson instead of relying on the uninstaller?

Thanks,
Mark

This is generally an error with .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. You may need to reinstall it or use the .NET Cleanup tool to remove all .NET Framework instances and reinstall .NET 3.5 SP1.

I also recommend disabling your digital signature icons and ensuring your video card meets requirements and is running a WHQL certified driver.

I would like to recommend that if you need technical support in the future, on a topic such as this, that you contact Carlson Support at support@carlsonsw.com.
