Point insert weirdness

Postby JSchmidt » Mon Jun 20, 2011 6:28 pm

Can anyone explain why my point attributes don't line up with the points they are associated with?

I have inserted a group of points into a drawing and the attribute blocks seem to be all over the place, completely unrelated to where the point nodes are. When I pick on the point block I get an "Edit Point" pop window, and when I close that window the attribute block snaps to the correct location in the drawing.

Is there anyone here who can explain that behavior and how to make it stop?

I regularly deal with thousands of points per project and this is a tremendous hassle.

Thanks,

Jon
I hate CADD packages that change the underlying program shortcuts!

Please send your question and sample drawing to support@carlsonsw.com along with your version information, whether you are running on Acad, IntelliCAD or the Embedded Acad engine and the build information from the first line of text in Help>About Carlson. Thank you
