Description Table

When I try to plot points a warning comes up that my description table is read only or corrupt. I have checked it and it is NOT read only and I have even copied a new one from my C drive onto our network at work and it will still not work. Any suggestions?? I cannot do much drafting without a decsription table.

Description Table ? Are you talking about the *.FLD file that runs your field To Finish set up?
Either way, I'll bet you a chocolate covered donut that it's a path problem on your network set up. The server is not being directed to correct file. (Just ONE reason I hate network versions of any software!!)
If you have a good copy on your C: drive, you should be able to select that file to use on your desk top computer.

I believe it is a network problem! I am using the copy from my c drive, and the other day I was still having the error come up, but taday all seems fine.
