Line Type Scaler changing itself?

Hello all,
I'm working on Carlson Survey 2006, and am having an annoying problem.
When I'm working on a drawing, occasionally I'll trim around text, go to
plot, or some other command, my line type scaler changes itself. I want
the scaler to be set to .7 however, it changes to .08 very often. This is
bothersome because my dashed lines will come up solid when I plot. Symbol
and Text plot size are both set to .08, so I assume this is whey the line
type scaler keeps setting itself to .7. This is when it gets really
aggrivating, if I change it, a few commands later, it will change itself
BACK to .08! Anyone have a solution or guidance at least?

Thank you,
Stirling

I had the same problem with the scaler changing itself, which it
apparently does do in relation to the drawing scale. This is invoked when
you do something in Carlson which applies scale, placing points or text or
annotation. We found that setting the psltscale to 0 and making all
linetypes scaled to 1 works best. This is presuming that you are working
with paperspace layouts.
