GPS co-ords

Carlson Survey/Roads 2004

Is there anyway in the above program to enter and convert GPS co-ords of the
form shown below into State Plane co-ords (In my case, Wisconsin Central
Zone). Or if not, do any of you know of any conversion software out there
that would do it?

Example of data I have in GPS co-ords.
45d 15.347N / 87d 04.443W

Thanks in advance for any assistance in this matter,

Wayne

You can label lat/lon in the drawing if it is in state plane (under the
annotate menu), but I don't know of a way to directly go the other way.
I think Mr. Lynge's suggestion of corpscon is the easiest way.

I've tested the transformation from SPC to Lat/Lon and though I
haven't done the reverse, the option is right there to do so. Try it
one way and then you'll see the format to handle the reverse.

Thanks guys. The Coordinate Transformation within Carlson Survey did work
but I ended up using Corpscon because of it's ability to do batch
conversions and then just imported the text file to create the points.

Really appreciate the help.

FYI... just discovered I can do it in batch mode within Carlson also. Have
a text file of... Point, Lat, Lon. Import it in like any text/ASCII file.
Then do the co-ord transformation and it lets you pick a range of points.
Converted them all at once and then was able to draw them.
