Plotting

Postby mark baker » Wed Nov 30, 2011 5:02 pm

I print a lot of aerial overlays over my large tracts surveys. White seems to show up better on the overlays so I make all my plat (lines, text, call tables, etc.) white but when I plot it out on my HP T1100 the survey lines & etc. come out black. I was told something about the "true color index tab" but I have yet to find it on Carlson 07 Standalone. Any help would be appreciated.

In 2011, you go to the layers, right click the layer you want to change, click properties.. and then "select color." There should be three tabs, one of which is true color.

Thanks, but I don't get properties when I right click the layer in 07.

In the 2007 version, i doubt that the true color index tab is the solution.
If your items appear as white in your drawing, then type "PLOT" and look to the upper right of the window for the plot style table. Select the CTB file that you use to plot. Click on the edit tab by the CTB name. Select color 7 and set the color setting to "'Use Object Color".
