I'm a little late in responding, but for what it is worth, going from EP to
SurvCADD was the best move we could have done. The data collection is
similar and SurvCADD does support EP style collecting. When all was said
and done it was more beneficial to use the standard FTF formatting and the
conversion was relatively simple. One of the nice things about going
through such a process is it also gives you a chance to take a step back,
examine your entire process a little more closely than you usually would,
and make minor improvements. We made the switch about 9 months ago and it
has gone extremely well.
I'm starting to get the idea that SurvCADD is the home of disappointed EP
users. We seem to be here in abundance. Keep up the good work Carlson.

Greets,
Been thinkin about switching from Eagle Point to Carlson. Looking for
discussion about doing such from those that have. Most concerned with the
surveying aspect. Data Collection to be specific. We use Leica with Data
Pro. Concerned setting up point library, similiar to EP's Field Code
Library. Are ther differences I should be aware of between EP and
Carlson?
Thanks a Gob
