Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to calculate a vertical area. Example: If I locate 4 corners of a window in a building. Could I calculate the area of the window.

Within Civil you can calculate a surface area (as apposed to horizontal area) by using the Slope Report routine under Surface>Slope Analysis.

The upper points would not be able to be directly on top of the lower points, this would create a vertical edge. Just be sure they're offset a small amount.
