Import document text scale

I recently imported a document that was a .shx converted format to .dwg. However when I did this the scaling for the text was all way off and didn't fit into the alotted areas. I have several drawings like this with a lot of text spaced about and there are no layers. Is there a way to reformat/change settings/do something that will simply have the text scaled correctly.

Under "edit", go down to "text". Try the "Change Text Size" option. It lets you select by window.
